Pain bleeding: They can have pain or bleeding or itching or nothing. You should have them evaluated- we recently had a nurse who thought she had hemmoroids but had cancer.

Accepted Answer

: To get best care I recommend consulting a proctologist. I find that other physicians,even colorectal surgeons, trivialize such conditions. Banding is for internal hemorrhoids only. The proctologist will also provide the best follow-up as well.

there's a bump near my anus and it's a little painful like it's just annoying right now, it felt like a pimple/cyst basically something that'd pop so i'm not sure, is it really hemorrhoids?

Probable hemorrhoid: This sounds like a typical hemorrhoid. Take a look with a mirror:  if the lump is blue or purple, it's a hemorrhoid. But if in doubt, see a doctor to be certain. No matter what it looks like, don't try to pop it.

Why worry?: Really! go see a MD for your symptoms as "worry" never solves any issues. Both of those issues can be treated.

Right on time: All four of these are not uncommon in a 47 year old patient, though they are not particularly related. You could  add failing eyesight, sore knees, and receding hairline as well. Seriously , these are all relatively minor, but make sure your murmur has been evaluated. Good luck.

left ov. cyst 3.6 cm. could be complex hemorrhagic cyst. this week wiped blood after bowel. doc said could be hemorrhoids or it could be bc of cyst since i have a bit of spotting be4 period. should i redo the vag ultrasnd first or check 4 hemorrhoid?

Both can be checked: however, if more bleeding is noted with bowel movements, then focus on the hemorrhoids, regardless followup with recommended  ultrasound.

hello docs, i saw my colorectal doctor on today and i have hemorrhoids and on the left buttocks nodule he said it could cyst or anal fistula. however i dont drain anything from it the nodule skin intact. he ordered an mri. im young guy worried .ty?

what are the side effects of hemorrhoid creams?

Itching/irritation: Most creams can cause increased irritation if used too much or too heavily--allergic reactions are rare but may also exacerbate sypmtoms and worsen the symptoms for which you are using the product! any persistent pain, irritation (>7 days) should be evaluated and not ignored.In other words, ok to try but use with caution!

can triamconolone cream be used for hemorrhoids?

Yes, briefly: Triamcinolone is a long-acting corticosteroid used for a variety of problems.  It is much stronger than the usual type of corticosteroid that is included in hemorrhoid creams, which uses Hydrocortisone (anusert, anusol, proctosol).  Although both drugs reduce itching and swelling due to hemorrhoids, triamcinolone is not intended for this use but probably ok to use once or twice while waiting.
