Not performed.: Contrary to what you might have been told, a "whole body MRI" is almost NEVER performed - it's too expensive, &amp; the technology doesn't work to make it easier. A PET or PET/CT scan is a better test for detecting cancer, but unless you have SYMPTOMS indicating cancer, the chance of picking something up is remote. It wastes your time, worry, &amp; money. Hemangioma: hemangioma refers to a mass of blood vessels that commonly occur on the subcutaneous tissues.Usually hemangiomas are benign and incidental finding on MRI, if the  signal intensity or the color of the hemangioma looks unusual on MRI then it's called Atypical Hemangioma and above scan is usually needed to make sure there is no malignancy, please talk to ur ordering doctor.

Not at all: As long as they are small there is no significant risks. Small splenic cysts are fairly frequent findings.  Hemangioma of the spleen less common than in the liver but as long as they are small cause no significant issues

Yes: I agree an expanding hemangioma should be evaluated by a neurosurgeon. Sometimes they can be treated without surgery, but the neurosurgeon should make that call based on the size of the hemangioma and strength of the bone, and whether it is causing pressure on the spine.

Not too much: The area of fatty replacements and/or hemangiomas within the lumbar spine are not significant, and pose no future problem for you.  However, the chronic wedge deformities may be due to prior trauma with injury to the vertebral bodies, or possible osteopenic compression fractures.  Discuss with you doctor about possibly osteoporosis or other bone abnormality, and how  to limit further injury.

Physical therapy: Appropriate physical therapy with back stretching, core strengthening should help. If not, a spine specialist is next, but avoid surgery.

: Based upon the brief description, it appears you have degenerative  changes in your spine and there is a potential risk to the  spinal  cord, if the disc  herniation enlarges.  Best to discuss this  with a spine  surgeon  and your current doctors.
