Other allergy medications such as cetirizine may also help with the swelling. For pain, ibuprofen or acetaminophen may help. For symptoms lasting longer than 10-14 days with OTC meds or if you are developing a fever, see your doctor.

Allergy can cause some facial pressure.In general, sinus infections are rare and doctors frequently mistakenly  prescribe antibiotics for what you are describing.
