Bronchitis: Pharyngitis/bronchitis can cause cough is often due to bronchitis/airway hyperreactivity and can be treated with inhaled steroids/antibiotics and stepwise asthma treatment. Evalution could start with breathing function tests, xrays (chest/sinuses), cultures of throat/sinus/sputum. Xray show pneumonia and was negative but bronchitis does not often show up. Lung/throat specialist/ent could help you.

Bronchitis: Acute bronchitis is &gt;95% viral.  Bacterial infection is usually with bordetella pertussis, the cause of whooping cough. Although usually in children it has been shown to produce adult disease and the cough can go on for weeks and weeks. The inflammatory process damages the trachea and bronchi and it takes a long time for these to regenerate and become normal again. Smoking will enhance damage.

Screen infant: A screening test particularly to verify that your family is also infected is indicated. Symptoms may range from mild to severe, and please watch for difficulty breathing, cough, fever and shortness of breath. If these occur, a chest radiograph and close follow up is indicated. Monitor your temperature, drink fluids and rest.

i am feeling achy, heaviness in chest, and have a fever. it goes away, then comes back again. should i be worried i have covid?

Possibly: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms:  fever of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

i went to my gp a week ago and she said that i have normal flu and prescribed me flu meds. i went back after 4 days because i still wasn't feeling better and all she did was book me off longer. my chest feels tight ( heavy feeling). should i go test?

Avoid contacts/test: Please obtain a test to rule out SARS CoV 2 infection, if you are still not well. Monitor your temperature, rest and drink fluids. 
Avoid contact with others and watch for signs of worsening respiratory effort. If this occurs, please contact your physician right away.
