i had a tubal ligation 10/23/04 during my c-section well for the past 60days i have had 3 periods with heavy bleeding from start to finish with extreme ongoing pain that makes me curl in a ball which still doesn't ease the pain and after it all done bleed

See an OB/GYN: Go back and discuss with the doctor who performed your surgery.  This is not normal and should be investigated further.

i am interested in the novasure procedure. i am 28 and have very heavy bleeding, severe cramps and pass blood clots. had a tubal ligation at 23 due to damage from auto wreck. would i be able to have this done?

Probably  : Endometrial ablations are great procedures to treat heavy periods. Personally i prefer genesys hta over novasure but both are good procedures. You should have no problem finding a doctor trained to do these. Many are trained to do them in the office under local anesthesia.

are quarter size blood clots normal after a polyup removal and d&c for heavy bleeding?

Possible: The endometrium may require 1or 2 cycles to repair from surgical manipulation. If this persists see your doctor.

my obgyn wants me to have a hysteroscopy and polyp removal for heavy bleeding. also wants to insert iud. if the polyp removal is supposed to help the heavy bleeding why do i also need the iud? is it necessary to get them both?

: IUD is only used as a contraceptive method, nothing to do with polyp and uterine bleeding.

is heavy bleeding a real concern for surgical removal of a blood vessel on a persons gum. i am having this procedure and so worried.

Not sure : If you are having the surgery because of the bleeding or are worried about the bleeding but if you have a prominent vessel that bleeds in a gum or lip it is common to remove and is a fairly easy procedure. The mouth is amazing and heals so fast you won't believe it. You will be glad when it is over and relieved!! No need to worry!!

Pregnancy test: Do a home pregnancy test. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.

Not normally: It is reported that implantation bleeding does not occur often and would not anticipate bleeding to be heavy.

Depends on the cause: If things like: precancerous cells, cancer, endometrial polyps, and submucosal fibroids have all ben ruled out, then most bc pills would be effective to decrease the bleeding for women with heavy menses.
