Disc compression: Your symptoms point to disc compression. Get a proper exam by your doctor and get imaging studies to confirm diagnosis. After that you would have the option of choosing types of physical therapy to help you. Pl don't delay and feel better

i put deep heat on my neck and shoulders and immediately got a migraine.why would deep heat rub cause a migraine?

May not be related: You may have a muscle contraction headache/migraine with pain in neck and shoulders. Try using Excedrin Migraine for headache, stop the Deep Heat and use Bio-Freeze.

i had a minor accident on my motorcycle 3 weeks ago.
i think i twisted my wrist. ive been icing and applying heat rub. 
pain doesnt seem to go away. not sure best  next steps. dont think its something a gp can deal with?

Injury: The best place to start is with your GP. He/She will examine the wrist and do further investigations like X-rays if necessary and refer you to an appropiate person if needed.

good evening ..i have been having a left side neck pain for some months now,have seen physiotherapist ,used norflex pills,deep heat rub,i do some neck excercise nothing is easing the pain..am in pain?

Consult doctor: It sounds like you have tried the conservative measures that usually help neck pain. Sometimes a better pillow (that keeps the neck curved at night instead of straight) can help, but it is probably time for a doctor to examine you for possible neck nerve compression, lymph node enlargement in the neck, &amp; other causes

my doctor prescribed (transvasin heat rub cream) for my face acne. it says it is for muscular pain. is it ok to use it?

Not drug of choice: you should avoid any burning mediciation. I would suggest using either 5 or 10% bezoyl peroxide cream or gel. Please consult with your private physican. The muscle creams contain irritants.

Relaxes: Heat relaxes the muscles by improving blood flow and some tendon release.

Depends: Early in injury (first 1-3 days) like to use ice to reduce swelling and inflammation.  After that usually start to use heat to increase blood flow to area to promote healing.  Hope this was helpful.  Best of luck.  Dr R

No.: Most people actually enjoy a heating pad from time to time, however, do not fall asleep on your heating pad as it can most assuredly be bad for skin, muscles and nerves when it is applied indiscriminately.

Wait but see Dr.: It could just be a mild strain or something more serious that stretching could make worse.  I would try and see a dr. First to help with your decision with exercises.  May need physical therapy.
