is there any difference in how hard your heart is working if its 130bpm at 10mins and 130bpm at 20mins?

MHR: A rough calculation of your maximal heart rate by your age is 194. At around 130 you are at a 70% of your maximal heart rate at the target zones of training. Longer you stay more fat burning will happen at that zone. If you are building  muscle and endurance not good to stay long at that zone. Well use training target heart zones can help you plan your goals.

i have a question about my heart. when jogging, should i have the feeling that my heart is working hard?

Likely exertion.: Jogging is a considerable amount of exercise.  It might put strain on muscles, your heart, and your lungs.  Your windpipe may hurt because your body is trying to get more oxygen into it than when you are resting, even when done jogging.  This is to be expected, but if you get difficulty breathing while jogging, see your doctor to test your heart as this may be a sign of heart disease.

i bought a hr monitor for cycling and it's saying i'm at max going up short steep hills but i don't feel as if i'm working that hard. heart trouble?

No: Sounds like you are in good shape...Well conditioned athletes can often exceed max heart rate (220-age).

Yes, but not often: Your heart can stop working if that clot breaks off and travels to the main arteries that leave the heart and enters the longs. This clot will cause the right side of your heart to push against increased pressure. This increases stress can eventually lead to your heart stopping.

: Is the BP higher on one arm that the other?  If higher on right arm ask about coarctation of the aorta but CT should have shown that if they were looking for it?

: Heart rate per circulation time is the same in all animals. Smaller animals have higher heart rates than larger ones. The number of heart beats for one circulation of blood is not higher in babies.

Needs: Full examination to see if her blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar are in order. May need cardiac evaluation to asses heart function, and lung function.

Only you know: You should definitely hydrate yourself with water, avoid going back out into the sun, and relax.  As far as calling 911 that can only be your decision depending on how you feel.   Ask your doctor  for some tips on how to pace yourself and what to do when working outside in hot weather for future reference.

: This is a confusing post. The EKG machine is as accurate as it will be in any setting. There is value in a "stress test" where the same machine is applied the same way while the patient walks on a treadmill to bring up the heart rate to reflect a more demanding physical setting. The extra stress can bring out more information about heart function.

experiencing chest pain when working/exerting myself, lungs feel like there is something in them so it's making me cough. heart palpitations/feels like it's working too hard? i got winded singing/doing really light exercise?

: If you are new to exercise, this may happen until you are in better exercise shape. However, if this is not the case, you should see your doctor for a full evaluation. If the chest pain does not resolve with rest or you are having labored breathing, please immediately get medical care.
