Tachycardia: Usually there is some variation in heart rate and we can get tachycardia  but if  you drink caffeinated beverages or alcohol that can  cause a fast heart rate, check thyroid,, if on BCP  rarely can have a clot that  can be potentiated by BCP . rarely  POTS(postural hypotension tachycardia syndrome) or arrythmia . Go to ER tonight to get evaluated

For the majority, no: Unless one is a highly professional athlete such as a bicyclist, a heart rate in the 40's is abnormal, and even in these elite athletes, 30 would be unusually low.

apple watch occasionally shows 35-40 bpm at rest. im not an athletic person but im healthy. should i be concerned or could this be a technical error?

Bradycardia: A normal range for Heart rate in an adult is 60-100BPM. In a younger person, or someone who is more active, the heart rate can be closer to 40-60BPM. I would not worry about an occasional low reading at rest. Talk to your Dr if you experience dizziness/lightheadedness, fatigue, confusion, shortness of breath or chest pains.

Hard beat: It is very reassuring that your bp and heart rate are normal and if you have no problems with physical exertion.  You're describing a sensation of a forceful heart beat but not a disturbance in heart rate or rhythm. You probably are sensitive to small changes in heart rate when changing positions. If you're still concerned get an EKG and wear a heart monitor for 48  hours to rule out abnormalities

Sex increases HR: While tachycardia (increased heart rate) is not a common side effect with Levitra (vardenafil), (vardenafil) it is reported.  Someone's pulse going up to 113 BPM during sex is not unusual, whether he is on Levitra (vardenafil) or not.  Staying up for an hour is notable.  I would, if feasible, have sex without Levitra (vardenafil) and see if the same heart rate response occurs. Then, armed with this information, pay your doctor a visit to discuss.

NO: normal heart rate is 60-100 bpm. 50 bpm is called bradycardia ( slow rate) but not necessarily cauistive of Q-T prolongation.
