i have the following symptoms for past 5 days now (sneezing, headache, stuffy nose, itchy eyes, sore throat. i'm thinking it's allergies, i've been using reactive but doesn't seem to do the job.. any suggestions?

Itchy eyes= allergy: Sneezing, headache, congestion and sore throat sound like a cold or sinus infection or allergy. The itchy eyes, though, especially if they are worse in certain places or situations, can help distinguish allergy symptoms ( but not always). For allergies, otc antihistamines like zyrtec, Allegra are helpful; for colds they should be avoided. If not sure, sudafed and tylenol (acetaminophen) and sinus rinses are best.

thick yellowish post nasal drip. it is accompanied by migraines (around left ear, mostly above it), pain inside of nasal cavity, clicking sounds inside nose. stuffy nose. sore throat. no sneezing. no cough. been happening for more than 3 months.

Evaluation:  Recommend contacting your doctor for evaluation. You may have infection which warrants assessment.

Strep throat: Strep pharyngitis is notoriously difficult to diagnose by purely clinical criteria, but the symptoms you mention do not suggest that what you have is strep. It is more probably a viral infection.  An allergy is also possible, but seems less likely.

hard to say: Sounds more like a cold, however, something is making you feel that you might have been exposed and for that reason you should see your dr as soon as you can for confirmation.

been sneezing / stuffy nose and slight sore throat since returning from france , temperature is okay , not coughing or high fever symptoms , should i be alarmed ?

Upper airway: You may have an allergic reaction, a common cold or local irritation of your nasal passages and throat. Stay at home, rest, drink fluids and monitor your temperature. 
Drink soothing fluids, use nasal saline rinses and try one dose of an antihistamine to gauge improvement. IF you develop dry cough, fever and/or shortness of breath, contact your PCP.

i have a dry cough, a stuffy nose & sneezing, i have suffered from bronchitis since a baby i'm 24 f, it started with a sore throat,no fever what is it?

Accepted Answer

Post nasal drip: you likely have undiagnosed allergies.  The allergies cause the sore throat and the sneezing and coughing.  The drainage is likely clear.  I would try some Flonase a couple of sprays each nostril once or twice a day.  Good luck and feel better!

Some possibilities: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor (call first) if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly. COVID-19 infections tend to have cough, whereas strep usually lacks cough but has more throat pain.

: We don’t know how long have you had the symptoms.So far it sounds as a common cold.Drink plenty of fluids,suck on lozenges for the throat, use nasal spray saline wash for 3 days, take Acetaminophen for fever&amp; body aches. Go to the PCP if: Fever above 101.3F (38.5C),facial pain&amp;green snot(sinusitis),coughing for2-3wks,headache doesn’t go away for days,short of breath or wheezing

: You could have bronchitis-more likely viral than bacterial with lack of fever. These could also be allergy symptoms with bronchospasm, especially with coughing with deep inhalation. A bronchodilator inhaler would likely be helpful along with a steroid inhaler. You may also need a nasal spray-either saline or a steroid. You should call your doctor for evaluation and treatment.
