May be migraine: This kind of headache may be due to pressure on the posterior or crvical branches. Botox injection have been used with some success. Surgical release may be needed.

Yes: Anxiety can cause a myriad of symptoms from the headache you describe, to stomach pain, chest pain, flushing, and so on.  However, to be sure this is what is occurring you should visit with your primary care physician and have an exam to be sure.

"Weird" not specific: 26 men don't usually have this for two weeks.  Bad position in bed or chair?Taking too many vitamins?  If getting better, hopefully resolved on its own (Motrin can help speed recovery).   If something serious it should be getting worse by now, forcing you to go to the hospital and get evaluated (blood tests, skull films LP, MRI)

Cervicogenic HA: Is a very common headache secondary to neck involvement. Cervicogenic headache is a unilateral pain provoked by neck movement or by pressure on the neck. These headache patients usually had a reduced cervical range of motion in association with the headache, dizziness, vomiting, blurred vision, etc. Rec.: see orofacial pain or headache specialist for evaluation and treatment.

Headache s/p reading: Have you checked you TSH, free T4 thyroid may be from that., especially since you are on thyroixine may be too high. Could be eye strain when you checked your retina did they check vision astigmatism , strabismus and eye coordination? Also could,cervical spine strain ,try motrin( if no allergy)    dry eyes usually would make you rub your eyes.  rarely could be mass or vascular in brain  f/u w/doc

carotid endarterectomy last monday for 77 % stenosis.still have fatigue and some vague headaches in back of head and temples. is this normal?how long?

The anesthetics: Should be long gone from your system by now, especially if this was done under local. You shouldn't be requiring significant pain medication at this point, either. Notify your surgeon of your complaints. He may want to examine you soon.
