Ans: Why are you using clomid (clomiphene). You are young. A low Foch indicates no pregnancy. There are serious risk factors with clomid (clomiphene) just be sure you understand the risks of a drug prior to using it especially when you are still so young.

Pregnancy: Its just a number, it has to increase on a daily basis at least some or double in value in 48 hrs. The ultraosund will tell you how advanced your pregnancy is. That is just a part of the pregnancy, . We must look at the whole picture, not just a lab.

i'm currently 5 weeks 4 days.  my 1st hcg at 4 weeks was 2140.  my 2nd 5 days later was 18, 216.  my 3rd at 5 weeks was 31, 624.  could this be twins?

Normal rise: You should be looking at the actual number. You should be looking at the rate of increase. Bhcg should increase by 66% every 48 hours. Your numbers are rising normally.

i took plan b 8 weeks ago. i had a beta hcg 4 weeks and one 6 weeks after plan b. both were less than 2, could i be pregnant still?

No: As long as the pregnancy has been documented in the uterus there is no reason to keep checking your levels.

Accurate: It is very accurate if the pregnancy is not an ectopic pregnancy. If still in doubt have the md do a blood pregnancy test.(beta hcg).

Mirena (levonorgestrel): Not much. The HCG should triple every three days. I'm more concerned for an eptopic pregnancy which can be life threatening. See you doctor!

hpt 30 days after sex, got negative.   an hcg quant 3 days later, got a 2.  did another hcg quant 4 weeks later, got a less than 1.  i also finally got my period. no pregnant symptoms.  could i be preg?

Probably not: Those numbers are normal for a non-pregnant woman. If they become elevated, your gyn will look for causes other than pregnancy.

Your: Hormones will change during your pregnancy.  So symptoms will fluctuate during the pregnancy.   Talk to your OB if any issues arise
