Yes: Not every woman feels pregnant even if they have a perfectly normal pregnancy. Just continue to behave as if you are pregnant, get your normal pregnancy visits, call your doctor if you are still worried. Best wishes.

Why check? : I'm wondering why you are still checking your hormone level. At nine weeks you can easily see a baby by sonogram. There is no value in continuing to check hormone level once this is done.

i had fresh embryo transfer 2 blastocyst (day 5) on feb 4, today is 12 day post after embryo transfer and my first hcg is 117. is it normal rate?

Yes: The first value looks fine. The only way to know what is going on is follow serial HCG levels.

my hcg levels have been slowly increasing over a week. on wed they were 18 friday 31.9 monday 73 and wed 114. i do believe i am 3-4 weeks. is this normal? my ob is saying that this will be a bad pregnancy.

No: The levels are expected to rise faster in a normal pregnancy at least doubling every 3 days. This is definitely worrisome. Of course there is always the possibility of lab error and, unless you are having other symptoms, I'd advise just watching it a little while longer. Best wishes.

Low hCG doubling: I would be concerned, and repeat the bloods in 2-3 days and the sonogram in two weeks.  Sometimes these issues resolve themselves.

Spotting: Spotting is relatively common in early pregnancy and isn't always a sign of miscarriage.  The cervix is often friable during pregnancy, so hold off on intercourse for a week or so and see if that makes a difference.  Implantation site bleeding is relatively common too.  If you smoke, stop as smoking is highly associated with this type of bleeding more likely to cause a miscarriage.

Within normal range: There is a wide range of "normal" HCG level during pregnancy. Typically expect the following ranges:
5 weeks LMP: 18 – 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml

HCG will peak during pregnancy around 8-12 weeks. Your lab result is in the normal expected range. Remember each woman's level will differ even at same time of pregnancy. Congratulations and all the best.

No: Hcg for weight loss is a fad. It really wont help you lose weight for the long run. Stop eating processed foods even cereals.

Could be: In order to know if a BHCG is normal one needs to recheck it to determine that it is rising appropriately. After about 6 weeks gestation the easier way to determine that a pregnancy is normal is to do a sonogram.
