No: Ovulation tests are designed to detect lh hormone, and pregnancy tests are designed to detect HCG or pregnancy hormone. Lh and HCG are related but different hormones ... There is little cross-reaction between tests. If your period doesn't come see your OB for a blood pregnancy test. You may need to see a fertility specialist (rei) if trying to conceive and your cycles stay irregular.

Pregnancy: Early pregnancy HCG levels increase as time goes on. A markedly elevated HCG can be marker for serious condition called hydatid mole. Hcg level not consistent with this condition.

OPK: Ovulation predictors (LH test) are very inaccurate.  When I'm working with patients with subfertility, I use day 21 blood tests to determine ovulation.

More info needed: These results are difficult to interpret without knowing when your last menstrual period started. It is a positive pregnancy test, but would need a repeat level in 48-72 hours to know if it is a viable pregnancy.

Doubling Effect : In the 1st trimester, we expect HCG levels to double every 48-72 hours in early days. I am assuming you are around 4 weeks right now? A single HCG value doesn't give enough information about the health or viability of the pregnancy.  From 1200-6000, the HCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double. Above 6000 iu, the HCG often takes over four days to double. So, the rate of increase slows.

No: Lab tests that check one's urine or blood, check only those fluids. Tests count how much bHCG is in either the urine or the blood. So, before implantation of a baby embryo, that embryo is floating around, not attached to the future mother. Because the embryo is not attached to the woman (it's too early in the life cycle), there isn't a direct way for bHCG to get into the woman's blood or urine yet

Possible mass: If a girl is truly not pregnant and has an elevated (usually quite high) beta-hcg, this could be caused by certain tumors such as germ cell tumors.
