Potentially pregnant: Sperm can survive for up to 5 days - so having intercourse, especially repeat intercourse within this time frame of ovulation, carries the potential of conception.

i had sex yesterday around 12-1am, i took contraplanii first pill at 1:30pm, and then the second pill after 12hrs. i am three days ahead of my ovulation day. would contraplanii work? do i need to take two pills tomorrow too as a safety measure?

: It should work if you are correct in predicting the ovulating time. You do not need further dose at this point.

TTC?: If you are trying to conceive then you must have sperm ready to meet the egg when it us released from the ovary. If you gave sex on your ovulation day you will not likely get pregnant. You have to have sex before ovulation to get pregnant.

20% chance: Your chances of becoming pregnant in any given month are about 20% (1 in 5).  Sometimes it takes several months of "trying" to become pregnant.    Home pregnancy tests are usually accurate anytime after you miss a period.   Best wishes!

Yes: Any time you have sex near your time of ovulation there is a chance of pregnancy. If you are having unprotected sex please take a prenatal vitamin with folate daily. This can prevent a certain type of birth defect in your child.

Probably OK: Only the two of you will know if the is a possibility of semen escaping the condom and into the vagina.  If all remained contained, the condom has done its job.  Your partner should hold the condom to the base of his penis when withdrawing to reduce the risk of escape.

Hard to guess: For a population of normal healthy women, the chances of getting pregnant when trying to get pregnant is about 20-25% for the month. However, it is not possible to guess an individual woman's chance of getting pregnant (nature just doesn't work that way). Some of it is timing; some of it is luck.

Possible: Your chances for pregnancy are highest when intercourse happens the day prior to ovulation, as well as day of ovulation. Be patient and check your pregnancy test at the time of expected menses if cycle is delayed. Good luck!
