This is worrisome: Anything that is painful and lasts for a week could be serious.  You could try just an antacid or an acid blocker (but not Milk of Magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) that could cause diarrhea or Pepto Bismol that could cause constipation).  If you are not moving your bowels, you do not feel like eating, or are vomiting or have any fever, you need to be seen.

MD visit: Neurology is not my specialty, but sounds like you should visit your primary md and have a good neurological exam, especially if this is something recent and progressive.

please go see a physician for medical examination. It could be something serious, requiring further tests and an imaging study of the abdomen to confirm it.

No: If your stomach was soft before but now is hard in that area,  it is not normal for you.  You may have lipoma under your skin there in your abdomen or you may have a hernia through your belly button (umbilical hernia)  See your doctor for an exam.

Some times : Appendicitis may start with pain near the navel. It often later migrates down to the right lower quadrant of the abdomen. For severe abdominal pain - please seek emergency medical care.

Rash or abdominal?: Usually when something "itches" that implies the skin, but i gather here you are talking about internally. There can be itching to surround the belly button itself because of rashes, but if it is internal, then it could be from a variety of causes. Recommend checking for urinary tract infection, if it persists. Could be bowel-cramps. Probably this is something that will away spontaneously.

Abdominal pain: The location of your pain means it my either be your colon or your ovary.  Are you constipated?  Last period?  Fever?  You are a bit young for diverticulitis but it is a possible cause that would lead to left lower quadrant pain, as would an ovarian cyst.  Kidney issues usually come with urinary complaints and back pain.  If pain intensifies, see a doctor, abdominal pain can be many things.

Pain: If pain worsens you should see a doctor in person, however if the pain comes and goes keep track of it. Try to determine if it is related to anything you have eaten. Have you traveled to a foreign country recently, or perhaps eaten out at a restaurant where you may have eaten spoiled food? For now, eat a mild, bland diet, and drink plenty of water.

Circumstantial sxs: Stress can manifest in many ways--emotional lability, lack of energy or drive, decreased libido/performance, hives ; other skin manifestations, chest pain, air hunger, perioral numbess/tingling, tingling in fingers/toes, overindulgence in food ; substances, GI spasms with resulting diarrhea/constipation/nausea ; abdominal discomfort, headaches ; more significant neurologic problems, etc.
