Tonsil stone: Look up tonsil stone on youtube. It&#x27;s a collection of food that gets trapped in your tonsil. Other than being annoying, these things are not worrisome.  Some patients elect for tonsillectomy if it last for a long time and nothing else helps.

Tonsil stones: These are calcified material that form in the crevices of the tonsils. They can cause  recurrent tonsillitis, sore throat, halitosis or cause no symptoms at all.

They are: Probably tonsil at crypts that are normal that catch debris then harden and you can feel them. An ENT or a dentist may be able to help you remove the debris but it will just happen again.

Mouth pustule: The fact that your roof of mouth hard bump softened and drained pus argues strongly for a pustule (bacterial infection) rather than an herpetic sore. But then again the fact that you now have the bump back again in the same area makes recurrent herpetic sores a possibility. You should see your internist so that the sore can be visualized and treated.

They can also be  caused by bacterial germs like strep.  Talk to your doctor.  They may want to do a strep test to see if treatment is needed.  You can help throat pain by drinking cold (non-acid, non-carbonated) liquids.  Throat lozenges can help.

Any bacterial infect: Any bacterial infection can cause exudate on the tonsils.  But pockets full of white discharge may be food particles stuck in small pockets or crypts.  These are called tonsil stones. Many times what are thought to be pus pockets are these tonsilliths.
