Infection: most likely, the bite has become infected. You may have cellulitis or even an abscess. You should be evaluated by your physician as soon as possible

Please ask your doc: to take a look.  There are multiple bugs like ticks and spiders. You need to avoid Lyme Disease and other things.  Peace and good health.

Now: By 48 hours these should be better. Bug bites can become infected. Let your doctor look at the bites to see if they need to be treated with drainage plus or minus antibiotics. All the best.

Lip: It could be many things. From an infection like herpes to an allergic reaction. He needs to be seen by a doctor. :)

Bite: A picture would be ideal. Bed bugs usually bite multiple times. They are usually very itchy. A spider bite tends to be more painful and sometimes has a blister like lesion in the center. All the best and send along a picture.

Yes: Your inflammatory cells come in to take care of the bite and this causes swelling and warmth.  This should subside in a day or two --if not i would be concerned about an infection--see your family doc.

Cool compress (ice): antihistamine, topical and oral.

Could be: Yes it could be or an allergic reaction or manifestation of an underlying disease. If this does not resolve, i would certainly advise medical consultation.

Steroid cream: Use hot moist packs and you can rub 1% over the counter hydro-cortisone cream 2 times daily on the bit area until swelling is gone.  Do not use the steroid cream in the eye nor more than 2 weeks.  See your family doctor if it gets worse.
