have a lump in my armpit size of a small grape. dermatologist said it's a cysts bait its deep. i want it out. will they just numb it like a scalp one?

Local anesthesia: Typically the skin around the cyst is numbed by injecting a small amount of lidocaine around the cyst, and into the skin where the small incision will be made with a scalpel. You may experience some temporary, minor discomfort, followed by numbness from the lidocaine. You may feel pressure and small tugging during removal of the cysts, but you should not expect a lot of pain. Good luck!

can an inclusion cyst be extremely itchy, i had an episiotomy a year ago and had trouble ever since there's a lump on entrance?

: An inclusion cyst can periodically become infected. When it does it can become irritated and itchy until the infection improves. If happening repeatedly you will need to have the cyst surgically removed

i have a lipoma on my bursa.  i am awakened by pain in my shoulder and have discovered a hard lump above the lipoma . can the lipoma lead to a cyst?

Not likely: But, the lipoma can grow and cause more symptoms. It's possible it may break out of its first pocket and feel like a different lump. If lipomas grow or cause symptoms like pain etc., then they should be removed.

i had an infected sebaceous cyst on my upper chest drained by the dermatologist four days ago and noticed that although it is much smaller than what it was, there is still a small, hard bump. is this normal?

Yes: Once a cyst is drained, it will firm up from the underlying blood and serum. This will resolve over time.

Ruptured Cyst: You have a ruptured epidermoid cyst. You should see your local dermatologist or a general surgeon and have the lesion treated asap.

Gland: This is probably a lymph node draining from the infected cyst and will disappear when the cyst is dealt with  either by having it incised or treated with antibiotics. Good Luck

Recurrent cyst: Cysts often recur:  it's normal. Return to the dermatologist. Perhaps she will recommend minor surgery this time to remove the cyst or otherwise prevent recurrence.
