i have been eating a healthy diet and i drink 80 to 120 ounces of water a day. i try not to eat past 6pm and in the mornings my hands are so swollen that i can not put my rings on. my hands are not red and they do not hurt. what could be the cause of this

Salt/thyroid: Try cutting down on salt in your diet. This means not just not adding salt to food but also avoid fast food, prepared foods and canned foods. Also see your doctor for thyroid, glucose and kidney function tests to make sure there is no other cause for your swelling.

Swollen hands: Sometimes this is due to positions of hands during sleep--being trapped under your body etc.  Try to keep your hands free of pressure and see if that helps stop the swelling.

Unlikely: Most likely  some type of nerve compression either in the arm or neck. Could be early signs of arthritis. See your PCP.

Yes: It might just be a contusion but sometimes one needs to take serial xrays to compare them and might see none changes. Either way, i'd recommend a surgical shoe.

Toe: This could be a number of things.  With diabetes it could bean infection and/or circulation issues, gout, or autoimmune.  You need to go see your primary care physician to have it looked at for a correct diagnosis.

6 weeks: Fluid retention is common in pregnancy.  Rarely it might be a sign of preeclampsia so it is important to keep up with your prenatal visits.  The fluid retention of pregnancy gets better by about 6 weeks after the delivery of the baby.

Could you : Be sleeping on them funny and cutting off  the circulation ?  Sounds like it if the rest of the day they are fine.
