Yes: Could well be sciatica, with pain coming from disc or osteoarthritis in spine. Also might possibly be a deep venous thrombosis. Go immediately to your doctor.

Evaluation and: Treatment by a Physiatrist (physical Medicine)  would be useful and a course of Physical therapy  useful

i tore my hamstring tendon at its origin in january, a low grade tear according to the mri from last week. its still painful, there is tissue inflammation present, the lower buttock is swollen. why hasnt it healed? will i need surgery?

: You need to see you primary care doctor for a discussion of next steps whether that is a physical therapy or an orthopedics referral.

Tingling: It is possible you have sciatica, compression of the sacral nerve and worse when sitting because your compressing the nerve. If you keep on having this you should get a MRI spine of the lumbar region to evaluate if this is the case.

Progressive: Start with ice and anti-inflammatory meds and relative rest, then progress to gentle rom and strengthening, followed by progressive strengthening and return to sports activity.  Ideally, treatment with a physical therapist will provide a structured program.

Multiple: Nerve compression from a herniated disc in your back to rheumatological disorder where the is body is attacking the muscles may be the cause.  You need a good exam and some lab work to begin evaluation process.  The longer you wait, the greater the chance that some of the muscle atrophy may be permanent.

Varies: There are multiple potential causes.  Swollen lymph nodes are usually associated with some type of inflammatory or infectious cause.  I would not hesitate to be seen and evaluated.

Injuries?: If on both sides most likely not strains. Especially if no injuries. You are young so there might be some ergonomic issues. Have to rule out lumbar spine problem with possible pinched nerves. This would be the most likely. Should get checked out if persists.

A hamstring injury is a strain or tear to the tendons or large muscles at the back of the thigh. It's a common injury in athletes and can occur in different severities. The 3 grades of hamstring injury are: grade 1 – a mild muscle pull or strain. grade 2 – a partial muscle tear.

Many causes!: But the number one i see and treat is piriformis syndrome. Sacroiliitis can refer pain down the leg, and you could have and atypical radiculopathy. But pirifromis syndrome is by far the most likely!
