is there any danger in taking halls cough drops.l have diabetes.  not worried about the sugar as i only take a few.

There should not be: too much sugar in the cough drop to affect your diabetes but if you have a viral illness which necessitates the use of cough drops there could be an affect on your diabetes from the infection. As long as you monitor your sugars closely there should be no danger.

IMHO, Yes: Halls cough drops should be perfectly safe in pregnancy, unless you had some unusual sensitivity to one of the ingredients.  If you took them before you were pregnant, they should be fine now.

i have laringitus  and have had it for two weeks what can i do to get my voice back? i have been taking mucinex (guaifenesin) dm  and advil congestion relief , and on my last pill of azithromycin , halls cough drops , and nothing has helped yet.

If : If after 2 weeks without any other symptoms you have not improved, you may want to look into other reasons for your laryngitis.

There are number functional and anatomical problems that can cause prolonged laryngitis such as: 
- otherwise silent reflux related changes, 
- vocal fold hemorrhage (broken blood vessels), 
- muscle tension dysphonia, 
- benign or malignant growths (especially if you are a smoker)

these can be diagnosed via a laryngoscopic exam performed by an otolaryngologist otherwise known as an ear nose and throat doctor. If your laryngitis persists, you may want to have your doctor recommend a specialist who has the tools to complete a more thorough exam.  Good luck!

tiny clear blisters on the inside of both cheeks in the area where i'd hold a cough drop. been using halls menthol cough drops. could this be why?

No: Most likely, this is another reason for this blisters. You can use camomile tea for gargling mouth many times per day for 2-3 days. If no better go to the doctor.

Get a checkup !: Cough is a symptom of throat and possibly lung problems.  If you have a persistent cough, it could be simply related to allergy drainage or acid reflux.  An examination by a throat specialist can identify the cause of the cough and then treatments will avoid the need for cough drops.  The key is to deal with the cause, not the treatment!

Options: Hydrate well.   Consider using a warm air vaporizer. Mix several teaspoons of honey into herbal tea  with a squeeze of lemon juice.  Or make tea with 2 tsp of marshmallow root bark per 1cup of hot water (steep in a covered pot for at least 5 minutes).  Drink several times a day or as needed to relieve coughing. See a physician if your cough is not resolving, difficulty breathing or temp &gt; 104.
