Could be: it is possible during perimenopausal syndrome your estrogen levels may drop and the testosterone level may not be opposed so hair loss is more common, usually the perimenopausal syndrome before menopause causes missed periods or irratic periods before it stops completely

Consult your OB: Flutamide seems an extremely aggressive way to treat hirsutism, and I do believe the hormonal imbalance it would cause by blocking dihydrotestosterone could affect your menstrual cycles. To be sure, consult your OB, maybe seek a safer way to reduce excess hair production ??

Tracking it down: Having missed a period, it is appropriate to check a pregnancy test at least a week after the missed period.  If there are urinary complaints, seeing your physician or provider for evaluation for infection is also a reasonable choice.

Possible: should have an exam and some labs to determine her hormone and metabolic status, might need an ultrasound of her ovaries

Very common: Pcos is very common. It is one of the most common conditions obgyns treat. Weight loss is key. Birth control pills can help regulate cycles. When you go for a visit ask to have your thyroid checked as well.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Unlikely: Menstrual disturbances are usually caused by a hormone problem. However, an isolated delayed menses would not likely cause hair loss. I suggest that you work with your gyn or pcp to try and learn what might have been the problem. Occasional delayed menses can be very difficult to understand, but if the problem recurs then more likely to get an answer. Best wishes.
