Probably normal: At your age it is probably a hormone imbalance. Maybe you had an abnormal or "weak" egg with your last ovulation that caused the lining of the uterus to bleed twice in a row. It could of course be other things, but if it happens only once and not again it was most likely a hormonal problem.

Depends: There's no harm in skipping the placebo week of birth control pills. It doesn't do any harm to your body to do this at all. Consider women who are pregnant, they are not having a menstruation at all either. Most doctors will recommend you have a placebo week of pills every 3 to 4 months. But by no means, scientifically, is that even a necessity. There's no harm in skipping the placebo week.

Ovulating?: Irregular periods would indicate you are not ovulating regularly, which makes conception difficult. Your miscarriages indicate that you have been able to conceive in the past, which is encouraging. You may have hormonal changes that are causing problems with conceiving. Consult your doctor who can evaluate for causes of infertility and review options for treatment. I wish you luck.

Your hormones are in: .. flux for some reason, so hang on for the ride.  Irregular periods and spotting could mean you may have some hormonal imbalance that could be affected by many different factors, including age (if approaching menopause?), nutrition, illness, exercise (or lack of it), body girth, psychological well-being, stress, season, or simple fluctuations of other related hormones (thyroid for example).

Not bad, but: It isn't a problem for Mother Nature to allow "back to back" pregnancies. However, in our modern society caregiving and economic considerations usually require a 2 to 3 year spacing between pregnancies. Not to mention giving your physical body a chance to replace nutrients and blood lost from the previous pregnancy. If you are pregnant, "it is what it is".

Yes, it is safe: There are several brands of BCP that are taken consecutively for 3 months and then inducing a period, so it would be safe to take one package of Rigevidon back to back with another one.

Repeat test: Repeat pregnancy test in 1 week.  In meantime, you will see what is happening with your period.   I would also mention this to your doctor.  Hormonal imbalances, stress, nutrition, medical conditions can all effect your cycle

No worries: There is no problem with taking two 21-day packs of birth control pills back to back in order to miss your period once in a while.  There is no reason for concern, this will not affect the effectiveness of your birth control.  You should be able to do this 2-3 times a year without problems.  Avoid missing two periods in a row (i.e. don't take 3 packs back to back. Enjoy this month off.
