Shame and death: We feel what we feel. There is always a reason for what we feel. In general death should not produce guilt. When it does it should be explored. For me death will always produce shame as for me shame is simply the loss of something. It might be said that when issues are unresolved and death occures then shame will be stronger as we know we cannot go back and fix things.

Some thoughts: There is no such thing as a perfect human relationship. If you made a mistake that cost your father his health, you're a non-physician and this is pardonable. So is anything else you may have done or forgot to do. Most children have unfinished issues with their parents at the time of their deaths. Resolve to learn from any errors &amp; treat others better. Depends: This depends upon the source of the bleeding and the speed of blood loss.  In general, as the blood level drops you will become cold, your peripheral blood vessels will constrict and you will of course become pale.  Breathing and heart rate will increase and eventually, unstopped blood loss will cause you to lose consciousness and eventually all functions will stop.
