Size doesn't matter: It's common to find nodes up to 25 mm or even more on physical exam or autopsy. If your lymph nodes are not woody or tire-rubber hard, preposterously enlarged, or very stuck to the nearby structures, stop worrying about them. When I was a kid going barefoot in the summers, I blew up a few big ones on either side. Life's hard enough without obsessing that your normal lymph nodes are lymphoma.

Many causes: There are multiple causes of small superficial lymph nodes in the groin and neck - but most are entirely benign, and it can be very hard to tell what the origin was. If any are growing, or become tender, see your doctor for evaluation.

Yes, normal: At least half of all healthy persons have at least one groin lump like this. It&#x27;s probably a scarred lymph node from some distant past infection. Do not repeatedly examine your own groin. That will just cause such lumps to appear from the pressure etc. Don&#x27;t worry about it.

Enlarged node: I would not jump to that conclusion. This does need evaluation. Biopsy, imaging, blood tests, physical examination and history are used to make that type of diagnosis.
