how can i cure groin fungus?

OTC antifungal: Diligent use of a topical antifungal medicine for 2-3 weeks should do the trick.  Lamisil, tinactin, (tolnaftate) and several others are all effective. 

If no response is seen with proper use, then you should see a dermatologist to make sure the diagnosis is correct.

Tinea : Jock itch or tinea cruris is common.  This typically will respond to topical antifungal which you can get at the pharmacy. 
Terbinafine or butenafine are common agents.

i have a couple of fungus spots on the skin in the groin area. the doctor prescribed ketoconazole cream and fungus became much bigger and redder. should i stop using that cream? am i allergic to it? what should i do?

Difficult to know: Without seeing the eruption cannot tell whether this is candida (yeast) or a superficial dermatomycosis (skin rash like athlete's foot).  If it is the latter ketoconazole will not be effective.  See a good dermatologist.

Fungal skin: R u sure it's fungus and nothing else? Consult with dermatlogist.

Yes: If there is contact with the fungal area it can spread.

Skin Rash: Since you used a jet tub and are having above described rash - could be folliculitis which is usually treated with antibiotics. Please see your physician.

i have athletes foot and fungus nail infection on 2 toes.. if i went swimming would i contaminate the water & spread the fungus to my hair, groin ect ?

Not likely: Athlete foot and nail fungus don't get transmitted to the same person just by swimming in water. 
At the same time, it is a difficult infection to get rid of and you may need strong prescription from a doctor

Possible feet: If definite fungal the possibility of having fungal growth on feet if that is case check out and in any case i would put on socks before you put on your underpants as this gets the fungus on the pants bringing it to the groin hope this helps.

See a dermatologist: It is difficult to offer specific advice without being able to visualize the rash. In you have not seen a dermatologist, do so.

Might hurt: Some folks have sex with much worse problems than that.
