Tinea : Jock itch or tinea cruris is common. This typically will respond to topical antifungal which you can get at the pharmacy. Terbinafine or butenafine are common agents.

Coconut oil: Coconut oil is an excellent skin moisturizer as well as being anitfungal. It this does not help at all in a week I would check with your PCP. Best Wishes!!
