Groin lump: This could be so many things.  Te only way to diagnose it is through clinical evaluation.  You need to make an appointment and be seen by your doctor.

Groin Swelling: It can be lymphadenopathy, swelling of lymph node ( a organ in body that drains infection). Better to be examined by physician. It can also be skin infection or muscle sprain etc

Yes possible: You need to be checked by a physician if you have hernia , yes two separate  areas of break may appear as two hernias  Your doctor wilted you if it is hernia  or not  . If you have advisable to get it fixed by a simple out patient procedure

Hormonal: If both breasts are sore and tender it points to hormonal reactions, especially if around period time. If breasts are usually lumpy, fibrocystic changes may predispose you to more breast discomfort. Avoid caffeine. Groin pain could be of pelvic origin. Endometriosis and pelvic congestion act up around period time. Pelvic inflammatory disorders may be a cause. Your gynecologist can advise you best.

A bigger lump might even be a hernia. One's primary care doctor can evaluate to see what it might be, and offer advice on treatment or testing.
