It is common.: The most common "grey spots" on the white of the eye are called pingueculae. These grey spots generally are nasal or temporal and are caused by "actinic degeneration"-- changes from being outdoors in the wind and sun. They can become inflamed and can grow onto the clear cornea and become pterygium, which could impact vision and require removal if they get close to the center of the cornea.

Could be: It could be, although there are other possible explanations. You need to see your ophthalmologist to be sure.

Normal variant: Need more info.  How long has it been present?  Getting bigger?  Any vision changes?  Most of the time these are not worrisome.  Would need to see it to diagnose.

: Lower eyelid lesions can be caused by numerous things. Most commonly benign are stye, cholesterol deposit (xanthelasma), molluscum (caused by poxvirus), keratotes, papilloma, moles, and milia. There are other rare benign and malignant lesions. An exam with your primary care or optometrist can help distinguish the cause.

found grey spot in my child's eye she is 5 yrs old but i m really concerned .the white part of her eye has a grey spot.i noticed it when she looked up.should i be worried?.i m making appointments asap in the morning?

: This is likely a normal variant. If it troubles have her seen, but I would not expect a worrisome finding.

Maybe: This may be a concussion of the retina called commotio retina. Sometimes, this may be associated with bleeding in the eye, retinal tears or detachments or other ocular damage.  It's a good idea to have a dilated eye exam with pressure check asap.

Particle in vitreous: Almost all people have some floaters. These may be remnants of blood vessels from the time of development of the eye. If you get new floaters it would be imperative to see an ophthalmologist.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

my baby (33 mo.) has a slightly gray spot on her left eye. the spot is located on the upper right side of the sclera. the eye surface is smoothly.

Dermoid: This could be a congenital piece of tissue in the wrong place. You should see an ophthalmologist for proper evaluation.

Grey spots: Your daughter may have brushfield spots which appear on the iris. They usually are found in children with Down's syndrome,but they can appear in normal people and are benign
