TimeForFingerPaints: By the look of that discharge, I'd bet you might need more than Monistat, which takes care of the white part, but yellow and green? Now you're getting into Picasso territory. And, if used properly, the Monistat should work in three days, max 7. So--if you've gotten little relief with the Monistat, get an exam for other stuff that could be going on in there and then the proper medication for them

Not really: White clumpy discharge is typical for yeast. If you are having yellow green discharge there is probably some other sort of infection going on. See your doctor for an exam and testing to determine the cause.

: Your initial discharge was typical for yeast, but the new one is not. You may have a different infection as well; colored discharge often indicates non-yeast infections like STDs, trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis, etc. If new discharge continues more than a few days, recheck with your doctor and include STD testing if at risk (new partner recently, partner with other partners, etc). No: If you are treating a yeast infection with Monistat 7 the drainage is usually white or yellowish tint. But other normal bacteria in your vaginal tract may cause other color combinations.

: It's doubtful that you have an active yeast infection.  Normal vaginal secretions are clear &amp; odorless as opposed to the discharge caused by a yeast infection.  If you're experiencing eczema of the vulva, cortisone cream would be the treatment. If you still have concerns, consult your gynecologist.

No: Monistat is a very sticky substance and is absorbed quickly. You might be able to get a little bit out but the majority will stay on the walls. Just give it a little time and it will be absorbed. If you continue with discharge it may be that the Monistat is not working and you need to see your doctor.

A clumpy (cottage cheese- like), white, non- odorous discharge associated w itching, burning, swelling or redness can be due to yeast infections. If you are saying that your discharge did not resolve with Monistat then please consult with your gynecologist.

Should improve: If discharge is not improving, the diagnosis may be some thing else bv? If bacterial vaginosis (bv) may have fishy smell.
