Possible: Moraxella catarrhalis is a normal bacteria in most people's upper respiratory system.  Antibiotic treatment will cure your infection.

Don't recommend: Trying to wax hair with candle grease may not be a good idea - especially if the hair is already ingrown.

Might: Did you put ketchup on the fries? Was there any repeat of the red material that you saw such as vomiting again? The  material that looked like grease may be mucous of the stomach. If you have not thrown up again or  have not passed bloody or tarry stools I would not worry. If you have continued abdominal pain, see your doctor  very soon.

Inhalation : Inhalation of various chemicals or toxins can occur from cleaning or drain agents.  If a patient has had a known exposure, they typically have respiratory symptoms but other symptoms can occur.  A free resource is poison center.  If there is a chemical exposure, the bottle can be obtained and discussed with poison center and recommendations can be made.  Discussing the symptoms with his doctor if he is continuing to have problems would be another option.

Burn: If this was a second degree burn(blistered), the new skin may take several more months to lose its redness.

If the blister becomes infected, this can rapidly progress to a full-thickness wound. Removing the blister eliminates this possibility, allows direct inspection of the wound.
