Get seen: These are often deep ("blue") nevi or dermatofibromas and are seldom malignant, but since you've raised the question, it needs to be seen without delay. You're young and you need to get into the mind-set, right now, of not delaying at all in getting seen for any lesion that you have any reason to think is cancer.

Wait and watch: Having a grey hair in 2 years old  is not normal ,wait and watch if any  more grey hair come up .At present  just watch .It may happen if there family history of grey hairs at an early age even in small children .

Probably: It does sound like an ingrown toenail, which usually does involve infection.  The corner of the nail grows into the skin edge and burrows in causing infection.  If it is mild, you can sometimes keep the nail edge elevated out of the skin and it can grow past the area.  If that does not work, probably would be good to be seen.

WHY: WHY would anyone use RetinA there? Just stop using it there. It will heal quickly. Any lubricant will help. Vaseline, Aquaphor, Aveeno, (oatmeal) Eucerin, etc.
