Similar: Chlamydia trachomatis is the causative agent in conjunctivitis or eye infection in babies.  What happens is the mom has chlamydia and when the baby is delivered the infection gets into the eye of the baby.

We give antibiotic ointment to prevent that, so it's pretty rare these days.

Yes: It can be spread by touch like other forms of conjunctivitis, but most people get it from exposure to genital liquids.

: Many labs do not insist on the first void specimen. So if no symptoms there are good chance you are OK. If still worried repeat test per instuctions of your doc.

Yes: Most common today is zithromax 2g orally in a single dose. Both partners need to be treated or you will just keep giving it back to each other.

: The test looks for the genetic material contained in the germs. The germs do not need to be alive or retrieved intact for the material to be found. This is not altered by the simple lubricants used in specimen collection.

Possible: There can be false-negative findings and the easiest way to prove this is to get retested.  If you have been having unprotected sex and are symptomatic would also want to be tested for other stds, including hiv. Good luck.

RIGHT AFTER INFECTIO: You can get epidydmitis if not treated properly with antibiotics for both infections as they co exist
timely treatment will prevent this complication and others.

Not unless you test: The standard UA and or culture will not test for either germ. It may not even have suggestive findings. You must submit the urine for a specific set of tests looking for genetic material of both germs or submit a penile urethra swab.

im almost 100% postive i have  chlamydia or gonorrhea so once im  diagnosed do you think my doctor will write me and my partner a perscption ?

Probably: Ask them, they may want to speak to them in person but many will just write the script.
