Bruise: For the first 24 hours, i would ice the effected area to minimize the spread of the bruise. After 48 hours, heat may be applied to allow the blood to disperse about the body. The amount of time it takes to heal is highly variable from person to person.

Warm compress: If the bruise is over 48 hours old you can use a warm compress 20 minutes every 2-3 hours on the area. This increases blood flow to the area which will make the bruising disappear more rapidly. Heat along with time and it will go away.
If less than 48 hours you need to use ice first.

It will heal; cover : Sorry to hear of your trouble within the family--i certainly hope it was an isolated incidence/accident. Minor bruising will likely heal completely without trouble, but will need time. Bruising appearance may worsen over 2-3 days, then should slowly improve. Make-up cover is easiest/fastest way to hide it until resolved. Consult doc if headache/vision trouble occur. Good luck.

You : You can avoid blood thinner medications and supplements from 10 days before your procedure to help with avoiding bruising. Some patients also find that taking arnica helps with bruising as well.

Gradual slow fading: Your black eye will fade away in a matter of 10 days to 2 weeks.  There will be a change of colors from bright red to pink to brown as the hematoma gets absorbed.
Within 24 hrs of the injury cold compresses are indicated. After this warm hot packs  applied for 30 minutes 3 x daily help to get rid of the black eye.

I've : I've never heard of mesotherapy for acne scars and wrinkles.  It is usually used for fat reduction and its effectiveness is not proven.

As a rule, the old adage "no pain, no gain" applies to cosmetic surgery as well as to exercise.  Botox and fillers are great and relatively low risk but acne scars may require something more aggressive than a simple injection.

Re-exposure...: Of course, some of the commercial and even prescription pediculocides (lice medicines) require 2 separate applications given about a week apart. Just make sure to follow your doctor's directions or the directions on the bottle, and remind your little one to not share caps/hats/bandanas or combs/brushes with other children.

Another treatment: Different lasers or ipl (intense pulsed light devices) may leave grid marks after the procedure.  Sometimes the inflammation may resolve on its own, require low dose topical corticosteroids, or possible second treatment to feather out the grid marks.  It depends on the device that was being used.
