Unlikely, but.....: You can get pregnant immediately after removal of an iud, depending where you are in your cycle. That being said, if you are only 4 days post removal, it is too early to check a pregnancy test. Additionally, your periods may be irregular just after removing the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. I recommend you wait a week, then check a urine pregnancy test. Best of luck!

The : The largest studies (cochrane database) do not show convincing evidence that acupuncture helps with conception, but it wouldn't cause any harm to perform.  After an iud is removed, it can take a while for a patient to start ovulating again.  After intercourse, stay in bed for approximately 15 minutes on your back with your knees bent up to your chest to help retain the sperm.  Be sure you are eating healthy and at a healthy weight (not too high or too low).  If you don't conceive in several months, you may need to see a fertility specialist.

Pregnancy with IUD: Sounds like you both are not on the same page. I recommend that you see a marriage counselor to resolve this because no matter what happens one of you will resent the other (more). Pregnancy can happen after 5 years but sometimes the presence of the IUD, no matter how old, can prevent pregnancy. If she were to conceive, IUD removal can cause a miscarriage.

: The purpose of Mirena IUD is to prevent conception with unprotected sex so you should be fine, especially you have not had a period. Plan B is only used in emergent condition, not a bulletproof protection. Take care!
