Often: Actually patients with ulcerative colitis who have an acute flare up may have bloody diarrhea.  I would seek treatment from a gastroenterologist or colorectal surgeon.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. 
The tests may have been done too soon to be positive, despite an infection. It would be prudent to see a hematologist.

i have been diagnosed w severe gastritis for over 30 year. recently i had a bad colitis episode the 1st wk of may and its been downhill ever since now they say i have ibs  c and 2 diverticulitis flare up in 2 months. im at my wits end?

i go to my gi in a few weeks but im curious. i have axspa & have had diarrhea for a few months. had upper, lower & capsule endo in 2019 bc low ferritin of 5. no prob except erosive gastritis. could you develop chrons/ulcerative colitis in that time?

: Yes, you could have IBD at anytime after the previous GI workup.
People with Axspa is at risk for IBD. Most people with IBD develop before 30 years of age but this disease can occur late in 40, 5 as well.
However, diarrhea without other associated symptoms is not typical for IBD. Likely, you will need to have colonoscopy again to rule out IBD.

i have crohn's colitis and my egd showed "inactive chronic gastritis" in my stomach. no h pylori. how do i know if it's crohn's in the stomach or not?

MOST LIKELY IT IS NO: Crohn disease could affect any part of the digestive system from the mouth to the anus
saying that very unlikely the gastritis is related to crohn most endoscopist  take a biopsy  to rule out bacteria like h pylori same time they can rule out crohn as well.

Rectal discomfort: Rectal symptoms are not characteristic of those disorders. Proctitis, which is inflammation of the rectal lining, classically causes rectal symptoms. Of course rectal malignancies and internal hemorrhoids may cause rectal symptoms,also. Colitis usually causes diarrhea and may causes abdominal discomfort. Gastritis: Gastritis is a temporary state, and means inflammation of the stomach lining. Start with focusing on your diet, eliminate any foods that cause your stomach to hurt. Keep track of how you feel after meals in a diary. Many times using a acid suppressor medication like Nexium or Protonix on a regular schedule will result in cure over the next 4-6 weeks. Pepcid is another good option. Hang in there!!

Tummy Ache: Focal colitis is a general term for inflammation of a particular area of colon. Usually this is caused by food-borne illness or inflammatory bowel disease (like crohn's disease). Very rarely serious pathology like mesenteric ischemia can show a focal colitis but you would be extremely ill. Typically a colitis will resolve on its own, but can occasionally need antibiotics.
