No: Monitor your health carefully. Any signs of fever, fatigue, shortness of breath or have been exposed to someone with Covid, then quarantine yourself. Otherwise, use a mask, gloves and foot covers. Stay 6 ft away from customers and ask that they wear masks. Limit contact with surfaces. Wash hands frequently/ sanitize any tools, vacuums and gear that you will be bringing from house to house.

Covis-19: All those factors are not relevant to catching the virus. If you are able to maintain social distancing (6 ft apart) and wear masks, you can safely work.

should we close down travel between counties or states the way they did in china?

Accepted Answer

Done already : Most states had a lockdown where only essential workers were allowed to go to work, so travel was essentially banned. Now reopening started and travel will likely pick up slowly. Most people understand the way the virus is transmitted and will avoid travel for a while.

i have been looking at the ny and nassau county covid tracker on a daily basis for months and can't understand why the daily number of deaths is always much higher than the number of cases. how can that possibly be?

so far in my state, 1,159 pos covid cases & 42 deaths (12 in my county). my dr thinks 100k people in our city (pop 400k) probably have it. how can he be so sure of that? scares me to the point that i don't even want to go outside in my own yard.

Prediction: That is based on a extrapolation of positive tests versus total number of tests run and it still may not be accurate. You might be scared of the fact that you might get it, but you can also be 1 of the 100000 that had it. Would not over stress over it. The big numbers definitely create social anxiety if not clearly explained.

COVID 19 in Texas:  One of my sons lives in Texas, so I understand your concerns. A second lock down is a possibility. I haven't seen articles about possible lock downs in Dallas but it is being considered in a number of Texas cities. You don't: E.coli is a family of germ strains that are present in the digestive system of all animals. A strain dangerous to humans may or may not be present in the system of &amp; then contaminate the fur of any animal. Any attendance at such an event should avoid petting or have hand washing/sanitizing available after any such contact. Such situations are uncommon, but do occur &amp; are hardly predictable.
