No: Pain in the breast is called mastalgia and is not related to intestinal gas pain. This may be referred pain from the chest wall, the lining of the lungs, reflux or in fact breast pain. See your doctor if persistent.

i have major pain in my right breast and right side of abdomen and have loud painful burps. is it a gas pain? it hurts like crazy.

Could be: Gall bladder, pancreas or stomach problem. A doctor will be able to tell you for sure with proper history, physical exam, labs and imaging. Make an appt.

While gas can : be treated with antacids, the symptoms you are describing, would benefit from an exam and possibly testing with your doctor to be sure nothing more serious is the problem.

It depends: These symptoms don't usually go together, but it could be pleurisy, an inflammation of the lung's outer lining, or peptic ulcer disease.  Occasional a herniated disc in the thoracic spine can give you sharp pain that radiates, but usually it comes from the back to the front, not the other way around. You should probably see a doctor for a more accurate diagnosis.

Heart pain is typically a sore muscle ..worse w. stress, achy, relief after few moments rest.
Gerd is sharp, often with food/burping/fullness.

Urgency: Need  to  be  in  e.R  and  let  them  listen  to  your  lungs   and  act  accordingly.  You  might  have  acidity  problem.   Need  workup  done.

You should already: Be recovered, could be from your other medical problems please call your pcp as u need a workup for these problems which may not be related to the c-section.

sharp pain to the right/kinda center in chest. it was there coming and going. not constant. not unbearable. then i burped and they stopped. then it started again and i burped and it stopped. doing it again now. could this just be gas pain?

: There are multiple possibilities for the cause of your discomfort. Because it seems to be related to burping, a reasonable 1st step would be to take a liquid antacid such as Mylanta or Tums. Hard to say: If the pain is from gas . You have to make sure you don't have kidney stones or urinary tract infection or cardiac or respiratory conditions causing the " chest pain." it could just be gas pain . Regardless, make appointment to see your doctor.

Maybe it's not gas: A person with "extreme gas pain" in the upper back and chest may have something other than gas. If it is gas, then taking an over-the-counter antacid/anti-gas medication should help quickly. But what if it is a heart attack or an aneurysm of the aorta? Those can be fatal, so a person with such symptoms should see his doctor or get checked at the emergency room right away.
