Gas pain: Gas pain is from gas. Sometimes cardiac pain can be interpreted as similar to intestinal gas because the two symptoms are not specific to one etiology. Heartburn is not usually from the heart by the way.

Heart pain is typically a sore muscle ..worse w. stress, achy, relief after few moments rest.

Multiple causes: Do not assume the gas being the cause. If you are having any exertional chest discomfort, chest tightness and relieved by the rest, you need to see an md. It could be angina from the heart.
If you truly believe, it is gas, you try eating good food and may try some rx over the counter to see the effects.
Chest pains never to be taken lightly.
