: The Issue is whether a person produces excess gas or whether it's a problem of passing normal amounts of gas through the intestinal tract. If a colon cancer obstructs the descending colon, gas can't be passed out through the rectum. Metamucil,a fiber supplement, can produce excessive gas. Taking simethicone 1/2 hour after a meal can prevent gas buildup from meals.

If very gas-bloated: A person who "can't take a deep breath" (which may mean different things to different people) can write down his daily symptoms on a big calendar, and get rechecked by his primary care doctor. A pulmonologist, an allergy/asthma specialist, and a cardiologist can help. A rheumatologist and an orthopedic doctor can help if there a problem with the ribs, cartilage, spine, or muscles is suspected.

The : The short answer is yes - radon can cause lung cancer. While smoking tobacco causes the overwhelming majority of lung cancers, radon gas is a well-established cause for a minority of cases, and this is particularly evident in non-smokers. Smokers have a compounded risk; in these individuals, radon gas exposure can accelerate the development of lung cancer.

Radon is a gaseous decay product of the elements uranium-238 and radium-226, both of which are capable of damaging the respiratory lining of the lung via the emission of radioactive Alpha particles. Long-term radioactive damage to the lining of the lungs can lead to the development of lung cancer. Historically, underground uranium miners who were occupationally exposed to radon and its decay products have had a significantly increased risk of developing lung cancer. Unfortunately, radon is also present in soil, rock, and groundwater, and it can accumulate in homes (especially in confined areas such as attics and basements). Radon actually accounts for the majority of background ionizing radiation exposure to the general public.

Studies have shown that the risk associated with exposure to radon in the home is small, but nevertheless significant. It is estimated that radon exposure could be responsible for up to 2 percent of lung cancer deaths, which amounts to approximately 21, 000 deaths per year in the United States.

does gas x cause rashes? and i have a bubbly sound feeling in stomach with or without eating is this a sign of colon cancer?

: I don't know what gas x is but exposure to something you are allergic to can certainly cause a rash.  As far as bubbling in your abdomen, its called peristalsis where the intestines contract and relax like an accordion to move stuff along. This is entirely normal. Nevertheless, you are almost 40 years old and due for your first colonoscopy to screen for colon CA. This is the only sure way to tell.

: Yes you can take it long term without getting all that. yes you can take it with metamucil but good to take it with some interval. the symptoms mentioned are not those of cancer. It is best to get your diet regulated by avoiding foods which give you gas so you can eventually get rid of all medicines, Good luck.

There are none: As you are young, first consider your diet and try cutting out gluten (bread etc) and fatty meals (read  food recipes on packages). Then discuss your family history for colon cancer with family members, and ask the age at which the person got colon cancer. There are families that get colon cancer in the under 30 age range. Colonoscopy and genetic testing can be done by your GI doctor.

Possibly: There are many different forms of lung cancer however the most common types usually appear as a solitary nodule or mass on CT.  GGO can be seen with lymphatic involvement as is suggested by the enlarged lymph nodes described.  This can be from infection, cancer or autoimmune diseases such as sarcoidosis and even heart failure.  A biopsy of an enlarged lymph node may be required.

: One exposure like you described would not change your underlying risk for cancer.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Not likely. : Hemorrhoids can cause rectal pain or pressure, problems passing stool or gas and bleeding. Rectal cancer at your age would be very unusual. If symptoms persist see a doctor. Soaking in a warm bath should help hemrrhoids as would stool softeners.  See a physician if problems continue.
