Metamucil : … Can help abdominal cramping in some patients, although it may take a few weeks to begin working. You should know that when you first start it, you might notice a little bit more gas, but that will go away and can be decreased if the Metamucil is started gradually instead of abruptly. Fermented...: Many fibers, particularly the water insoluble kind, are readily fermented by your gut flora. Some people have certain intolerances to bean husks (try beano), to wheat/barley/rye (gluten sensitivity), ;/or have a particularly active population in their gut of gas-forming organisms (try bifidobacter-containing probiotics). Maybe altered GI motility, ibs, air swallowing, maldigestion/malabsorption?

Fatty foods?: If you can blame the symptoms on foods or meals high in fat, oils, or cooked in oil; the think about gallbladder disease. May need a gallbladder ultrasound to test for stones.

Complex: Its a complex issue, and functional problems with the GI tract are common, and typical not dangerous. While some of your symptoms may be gallbladder related, some may not be. You'll have to ask a higher power why this is happening to you. Hope this helps!

Bloating, gas: It could be that you are intolerant to certain foods.  The first thing to do is to see if you get the symptoms when you eat specific things, and if so, try avoiding them.  If you are lactose intolerant, avoid milk products.  Also, certain sugars called FODMAPS can cause symptoms.  Google FODMAP diet &amp; look for Stanford Health Care.  It's a good diet plan to try

how can you tell the difference between gas cramps & pms cramps? the pain is not the whole abdomen, just right above pubic bone area.

Timing: Gas cramps can occur at any time, may be associated with certain meals and improve with bowel movements. 
Periods cramps occur at certain times of the month, followed by bleeding and improve with motrin/ibuprofen.

Pregnancy test? : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If negative schedule a visit.  I see you  are in irving. We do free tests in the office.

Go back to doctor: It should be obvious that the best person to assess this would be the surgeon who performed the procedures. If you do not trust them, go and get a second opinion.
