Gallstones : Gallbladder pain is usually felt just below the tip of the breat bone and near the rib cage on the right side of the abdomen, occasionally radiating to the back. It is usually caused by gallstones. Men don't have eggs, so i'm not sure what you mean by that. See your doctor to find out more.

is egg is good for liver and gall bladder disease?

Egg is not good.: Egg contains both protein and fats. Liver metabolizes the protein and also produces bile, which is green in color & is stored in the gall bladder. During digestion, bile is released from the gall bladder through the common bile duct. Bile helps in the digestion and absorption of fats through the formation of "micelles". So, egg may not be good for someone with liver or gall bladder disease.

i'm having sulfur burps all day 3-4 times a week no gall bladder. i eat healthy. what could be causing it ?

Sulfur burps: Sulfur burps occur when foods containing sulfur break down in your stomach. If it occurs often look up sulfur containing foods on Google and limit them. Drinking lots of water may flush them out. Taking simethicone after meals prevents gas buildup. Get tested for  h pylori bacteria in your stomach

my  boyfriend has been having pain on left side of stomach, burping and little appetite for the last week. is it his gall bladder?

Probably Not: Typically gallbladder pain is in the right upper quadrant and follows consumption of fatty foods (within 1-2 hrs. After a fatty meal).  The pain can radiate to the back and can be accompanied by nausea and vomiting.  Left upper abdominal pain may be an ulcer, gastritis, gas pains from the colon or constipation.  I would visit your primary doctor to evaluate the pain.

i have very smelly burps and upper right quadrant pain. could this be related to suspected gall bladder problems. or any other suggestions?

Definitely possible: Increased flatulence, with the associated flatus and belching, and right upper quadrant pain are both symptoms of gall bladder disease, but not absolute.  If your symptoms are worse with fatty or greasy foods, and if you have some back pain and nausea, it would be quite probable this was gall bladder trouble.  Your primary physician could help make your diagnosis, and refer you if needed.

Need evaluation: You should probably check in with your primary care doctor. Your symptoms can be a sign of other conditions like infection with helicobacter pylori or an ulcer. Increasing your Prevacid (lansoprazole) to 30 mg a day may help your symptoms but may not address the underlying problem.

i have had my gall bladder taken out 5 years ago, i still have pain in upper abdomen it feels like a brick in my stomach. then i can not stop burping ?

Gastroenterologist: It is troubling to hear about such longstanding symptoms so many years after your surgery.  If the pain you are having is the same as what you experienced before surgery, there are some very important lab tests that need to be done after which your dr. Will likely order an ultrasound or ct scan. If the mystery remains, upper endoscopy by a GI doctor (gastroenterologist) is indicated.

57 year old female has gastric problems and previous gall bladder problems. stomach has gas and she burps a lot.

Gaseous: Is your gall bladder removed? To prevent gas build up, take simethicone 1/2 hours after meals. To break down gas bubbles, drink warm water and apply a hot water bottle to the abdomen which facilitates the moving of gas through the intestines rather than forcing yourself to belch it up as this causes more air swallowing.  Perhaps an evaluation by a gastroenterologist is your best course of action.

Common: Discomfort, gas, bloationg, irregular loose or constipated bowel movements csn be very common this early after surgery. Drink plenty of liquids, eat smaller lighter foods ; avoid fatty or greasy foods just for now.  Contact your surgeon for a post-operative follow up to answer your questions.

See you MD: You need to get a complete history and physical, laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging as well as possible endoscopy to evaluate the source of your distress. Perhaps dietary restrictions may be at fault but other more serious causes should be excluded first such as pancreatitis, malabsorption, hepatitis, and/tumors.
