itchy blister type under foot. over a year. not sure if it's a fungus or dyshidrosis eczema? once broken it spreads to new blisters. gets also flaky and skin thickens. sore and tired of this. please help?

Pointers: Ringworm affects body, feet, groin, scalp.Eczema affects knees, elbows, neck etc.They are both itchy.Ringworms looks like raised red scaly rings.Eczema feels dry, thick patches, may ooze and have bleeding blisters from intense itching.Ringworm caused by fungus.Eczema happens in response to allergens, climate or illness.

Not necessarily: If his feet are very swollen this can cause cracks in the skin and cause the skin to blister or peel. This could be due to eczema or just from the swelling. They can be painful due to the skin being broken to move them. Best to have them checked out, he may need a steroid cream, compression, or it could be a fungal infection, but the only way to know would be to have them looked at.

Completely : Different. Fungus is a living organism. Eczema is a skin condition where skin is inflammed. Both could itch and therin lies a similarity. Fungus can spread, eczema doesn't spread but rather can occur in multiple locations.

ive had this rash on my left elbow for yrs, my friend told me it was excema and i was putting on excema stuff for it, on sun, i was using fungus stuff for my breast and thought maybe i should try it on my elbow,now its almost gone, did i have a fungu?

: Not necessarily.  Your "fungal stuff" could have steroids in it that would affect/treat an eczema.
