Steroids to avoid: Please see your doctor. We try to spare steroid use on face unless we are sure of the the diagnosis. It seems that you may have a viral infection and both of these treatments will not help.

Stay stress free and see your doctor for the treatment of possible viral infection.

Scabes?: The fingers and groin are a common place for scabies rash, which would not be helped by either treatment you are using.  The mouth rash is likely coincidental.  You should see you your doc for a full exam and treatment.  Good luck!

i have a red rash on my shaft right below the head. it doesn't itch anymore never hurt. doc gave me anti fungal cream for it it kind of helps. one day i forgot to put it on and the rash was secreting a clear slimy fluid. any ideas what it is?

: Most likely a yeast (candida) infection. Common in moist areas of the body . U may need an oral antifungal

Not usually: Several rashes can have stress related causes.  Usually a rash around the mouth is an infection or perioral dermatitis.  I would have the doctor check it.  It might need a prescription treatment.

Flaky rash: It could be fungal and on scalp may not respond to a topical treatment so see a doctor for this

Picture might help: Which Part of your Body do you have these red rashes? What did you do, eat or drink before these rashes appeared? Have you had similar rashes in the past? A picture might help but best to see the Primary Care Physician or Dermatologist to sort things out.

Maybe: Use inside the mouth is not recommended.  If you are referring to the corners of your lips (oral commissure), then that may be a condition called perleche.  Antifungal creams such as lotrimin (clotrimazole) may help, but Lamisil (terbinafine) probably will not as it does not treat yeast very well.

Yes: Candida infection of the foreskin can be spread to the mouth. Other bacteria as well. However, the saliva of the mouth offers some protection. If you develop a sore throat or white patches on the tongue or throat see your dcotor.

Possible: Intraoral zoster is uncommon, but may produce a sharp unilateral distribution (trigeminal v3) of lesions. No intraoral prodromal symptoms occur. The lesion is very similar to herpes virus infections.
See your dentist for further investigation.

Maybe food allergy: Rashes that seem to be related to eating certain foods may indicate a food allergy. Your child could have testing for food allergies.  This can now be done with a simple blood test that your doctor can order.
