Possibly: Nut allergy usually comes on fast and furious and thus if she has survived the time you spent posting this question, it is likely not that serious.  Note that she may not be allergic to all tree nuts and thus you should consult an allergist about this.  In the meanwhile, be sure to have an Epinephrine kit (2 pack) on hand- this will ease your anxiety and may save her life some day.

zyrtec (cetirizine) works best for my allergy symptoms, but full 10 mg pill makes me pretty groggy for next 24 hrs. is it safe to split zyrtec (cetirizine) pill into 5 mg dose?

Yes: You can take it either once or twice a day at the 5mg dose. Just don't go over 10mg max per day.

the right side of my throat hurts, and feels dry. also, my right ear feels full and hurts. when i put a q tip in my right ear it also hurts. i have no other symptoms. is this just allergies or an infection??

: One sided pain in the throat/ear can indicate an ear infection or sinus involvement. You need to see an in person Dr to have a full otoscopic exam of your ear. Diagnosis of an ear infection can lead to appropriate treatment with an antibiotic. Allergies typically do not present one sided.

Yes: Diarrhea can be a symptom of gluten-sensitive enteropathy (celiac disease), but this is not a true allergy. In celiac disease, gluten (which is a component of wheat protein) causes damage to the lining of the small intestine, resulting in diarrhea, flatulence, bloating, vitamin- and iron-deficiency, anemia, and other problems. Some celiac patients do not have diarrhea. A blood test can diagnose it.

I don't think so: Aluminum allergy has been described in the medical literature but to my knowledge there are no signs or symptoms related to the mouth.

If this is a: consistent reaction it may be an allergic symptom. I have no symptoms with our Bichon Frisés or our Vizsla but I do react to our Golden Retriever. Some types of dog are more likely to cause a reaction for someone who is allergic to dander. Consider seeing an allergist.

Yes: Asthma is an allergic disease in a majority of cases.  Allergies can also lead to vocal cord dysfunction, which can cause shortness of breath.
