Not to my knowledge: Research is ongoing in the area of  in vitro fertilization, but to the best of my knowledge, there is no remarkable difference in the sex of child between frozen vs. Fresh sperm.

can sperm be frozen to be used with frozen eggs (w/o fertilizing an egg before egg is frozen)?  if so, can frozen sperm be shipped for storage w/ egg?

Yes: Sperm is much more easily frozen than eggs, and sperm tend to survive freezing quite well. And yes, frozen sperm can be shipped just about anywhere. Best wishes!

Cost varies: A basic IUI costs between $500-$900.  If the sperm has to be purchased from a sperm bank, then there is an extra cost for the sperm.  The prices vary depending upon your geographic location.

Artificial : Insemination is taking sperm (either fresh or thawed out banked sperm) and placing it in the vagina in an effort to achieve a viable pregnancy. Success rate varies depending upon the cause of infertility that necessitated ai in the first place, as well as the fertility of the sperm sample. Sperm samples can remain viable for decades or more  if frozen and stored properly.

Age of the donor?: The biggest factor is the age of the donor. Using an anonymous or known egg donor under 30, with normal ovarian reserve screening, the success rate should be 75-80% or higher with transfer of two blastocysts, and lower with a single embryo transfer. If the donor is older then success rates fall. By et with 3, if you're referring to 3 embryos, this is unusual, unless a known donor is 38+.

Frozen sperm: Freezing sperm to preserve its potential for fertilization, unless in liquid nitrogen at "minus 347 degrees Fahrenheit".  Freezing in a household refrigerator will not preserve vitality for very long.  "Sperm Banks" are best sources for liquid Nitrogen preservation.

of course you can freeze at home , you have to engage the service of a cryogenic lab  ( sperm bank ) for a fee  reported fertilization  occurred  20 yrs later .It is not going to be cheap , your insurance will not cover for this kin

Depends upon semen: Donor semen is only preferable if semen from older dad-to-be has poor a very low count and/or poor quality semen or sperm. Chances of conceiving improve by artificial insemination by older dad, and worth trying before using donor sperm. Good luck.
