Conceivable: But you do not say if you are a man or woman, where the yeast infections are occurring.  If this is vaginal, not necessarily due to immune disorder.  If oral, get checked asap for hiv, etc.  When yeast vaginitis recurs frequently you may be becoming reinfected by your male partner, who should smear anti-fungal cream on his penis while you are being treated for your vaginitis.

i was diagnosed with yeast infection two years ago after tested for stds bv immune disorder etc everything negative but yeast been treated with fluconazole for a year & clotrimazole but never responded i also now have pelvic pain whats happening?

: Yeast infections do not cause pelvic pain. There are many other possible causes, but if you are sexually active, this suggests possible pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which usually means gonorrhea or chlamydia -- so get checked ASAP. As for yeast, 10-15% of infections are caused by yeasts resistant to all "azole" drugs. Discuss alternate treatments with your doctor. Good luck.

HIV: Possibly, but this would also mean that you were either having symptomatic acute HIV syndrome or that you got HIV infection years ago and are now showing immune deficiency.  If you think you have been exposed to HIV the best thing to do is to go and get tested.

No: Males can have fungal / yeast infections without being severely immunocompromised. However, if you have risk factors or are concerned, an HIV test should be recommended to answer that question.

Not all the time: Antibiotics can cause vaginal yeast infections.  But if you are having oral or skin infection that usually does mean an impaired immune system.  You should be checked for diabetes, low white blood cell count and HIV which are more common causes.

Not necessarily: You don't say what your symptoms are, but it is entirely possible for your sexual partner to transmit fungal colonization to your penis and if you have an abrasion or other issue for you to become symptomatic. Educate yourself: Any guy can catch a yeast infection down there from a girl or just being himself. It's got nothing to do with your immune system. It's common. You're almost a grown man. One of the finest gifts you can give yourself and the women in your life is to be a responsible, educated lover. Start using condoms and read a couple of good books. And welcome to the new joys and responsibilities of being a man.

Not related: Yeast infection does not usually lead to sepsis until you are severely immune-compromised.  Whether you have lyme disease or not has no bearing on this issue.

Immune system: Having HIV decreases your overall immune system making it harder to fight of infections. This puts you at higher risk of things like yeast infections. It should respond to typical yeast treatments. With hiv, i'd recommend a vaginal culture to be sure it is just a yeast infection. This helps with treatment plans also.

Genital ulcer?: Genital yeast infections are uncommon in men. An open sore of the penis (a "cut"?) is not likely due to yeast. The most common cause by far is genital herpes. Syphilis also is a possible cause. See a doctor for proper diagnosis -- the sooner the better for accurate diagnosis, and for effective treatment if it's herpes. Don't have sex until the "cut" has been diagnosed and has healed.
