so it appears that when you drink fluids they are passing through you, so even if you do not drink , you will go. So it is better to prevent dehydration that you drink when you are thirsty

Yes: You are probably eating as well and that adds to the bodies water intake.  The mechanisms of the body are designed to provide homeostasis - a steady equilibrium.  This includes the maintainence of a constant salt and water level.  Your kidneys will remove the excess water to keep this balance and so urinary outflow will increase.

Urinary frequency: Several possibilities. If small amounts with urgency or pain, a urinary tract infection is likely. Possibly overactive bladder. If large aounts of urine, i.e. bladder usually is quite full, then diabetes is probably the most likely possibility. Seriously abnormal kidney function could do it. Or hormonal problems, especially one called diabetes insipidis. Some of these are serious; see doctor soon.

Try to divert your attention after drinking water by any activity if your choice e.g music, movie, computer, meditation and hold it for longer periods each time. If this does not work you will need to see a Urologist who will decide what if any tests you need. I think you will be fine'
