Confusing area: "normal" values for free and total testosterone are all over the map. Depending on the lab director, t nrml ranges from 175 to 1100.! go figure. It drives patients and doctors crazy when trying to make sense of "low t". The fda considers a t less than 300 with symptoms as treatable.  Free t assays are variable from lab to lab wheras total t is pretty standard. You should always repeat abnormals.

: Free testosterone binds to sex hormone binding globulin and serum albumin. The albumin-bound testosterone connection is weak and it is included in free and weak portion. For you, the percentage of free and weakly bound testosterone is high. So your total testosterone is low but the free portion (Free and Weak) is normal because you have high percentage F&amp;W. In summary, you are not deficient in T.

: A diet with onions, garlic, fish, lean beef, chicken, eggs and other proteins. Exercise 3-5 times a week is also very beneficial.

Excellent: At age 19, I am surprised you had a Testo level...but it is fine.  If there are other problems then those would need to be considered

In extreme.: It is well described that exercising on to high an intensity will lower sex hormones in both men and women.  The reality of over training is diminished benefits from exercise, increased risk of injury, including stress fractures, and low sex hormones.

Depends . . .: It's possible to have issues w/enough lh or leydig cells such that testosterone is low yet fsh ; sertoli cells are fine so no fertility issues. However, taking testosterone in any shape or form will essentially render you infertile as it will shut down your fsh and thus sperm production. If you need to boost your t and maintain fertility, consider off-label hcg, Clomiphene or tamoxifen. Good luck!

Testosterone: Before making any decisions make sure your doctor examines your gonads and also orders both total and free testosterone.
There is not much need for free testosterone.

Testosterone: deficiency shows up in growing age with signs of not growing hair, small libido otherwise in adulthood testing is not necessary. testosterone inj. or ointments don't help except the seller. Mine differences are not a clinical condition.Avoid caffeine, drinking, TV in room. Do regular exercise and get busy with ur studies or work. Don’t dx yourself.
