Yes: There are some federally supported programs sponsored in different states. Here in nevada there is a free annual screening program for uninsured women over age 40 to have free breast and cervical cancer screening. But it does not include treatment if a condition is identified.

ive had breast cancer, doing great 10 yrs free but i have pain on left side where the breast was removed (scare tissue)  what can i take for the pain ?

Congratulations: on your successful treament of breast cancer. Are you continuing your follow-ups with your doctors/surgeon? Are you continuing to do monthly self breast exams? You have been cancer free 10 years, lets keep it that way!! If you have not been seen by your doctor/surgeon since the pain began - GO TO THEM TO BE CHECKED!! Please!! If it is pain due to scar tissue, Aleve (naproxen) or Motrin should be adequate.

Much more often....: ...Than not.  Thankfully, our tools for treating breast cancer have improved quite a bit over the past 20 years.   Survival is not related to method of surgical rx (lumpectomy vs. Mastectomy); rather, it is dependent on the stage, type, and molecular features of the cancer. When caught very early, the chance for cure is better-than 90%.  The best way to do that is yearly mammograms beginning at 40.

Cancer Survivorship: Is a journey that begins at the time of diagnosis.  While the cancer may be gone after surgery or other treatment, doctors will continue to follow a  patient for many years after therapy to monitor for late side effects of treatment and signs of recurrence.  'cancer free' is often used to describe when there are no detectable signs of cancer on physical exam or other studies.

No effect: Without a family history of breast cancer the chance is high that you are cured of your cancer. This has not been due to the influence of any vitamin.  Cause is environmental with a high possibility  due to  MMTV with or without EBV.   Incidence of breast cancer recurring is 1% per year for 15 yrs   Yearly exam still important.  Any multi vitamin will do but have no effect on your disease.

GET REASSURANCE: Cancer cure is measured by time--usually, if five years pass, one is not likely (without guarantee, of course) to get a recurrence.
Medical science has not determined the cause of breast malignancy, except that cigarette smoking increases your risk and one form is greatly enhanced genetically.  A trusted doctor, perhaps the doctor who performed your mastectomy, should examine your (see addition)

i put powder under my arms to keep it dry im worried now that it cause breast cancer cause the talc and stuff in powder?

Corn starch...: If you need to use a powder to keep dry, find a corn starch-based powder. Most baby powders are now made with corn starch instead of talc. There are also anti-perspirants that are made to keep the underarms dry so that powders are not necessary. Hope this helps! Best of luck to you!
